I think that it is a tie between Scorpia and Snakehead, that's when the most information about his parents is revealed. Scorpia, in my opinion, was the first book that had any major revelations regarding his parents, and Snakehead follows on from that.

Yeah, I'd have to say Stormbreaker (found out about Alex's personal past, how he got into MI6), tied with Snakehead (found out about Alex's family's past, what happened to his parents).

Stormbreaker was, in my opinion, the most important book because without it we wouldn't understand the rest. However Snakehead was my favourite book  grin

I agree that Stormbreaker is the most important book. Whitout the things which happened in Stormbreaker, Alex would have been a normal (as far that he can be normal) teenager.
Also in Stormbreaker he first begins to think about what realy happened to his parents.

hmm I think Scorpai and skeleton key are my favourite Alex Rider books in Scorpia You get to know Alex alot more and snakehead did aswell of course without stormbreaker none of these books could have happened yet that doesnt mean it nex=scarily the most creative or inventive one.

Scorpia was soo good cause you got to see the evil side of Alex.  I didn't know if he would go through with killing Mrs. Jones, it seemed like he would because he was treating it like he would any other mission.  He wasn't scared or nervous or questioning himself before he broke into Mrs. Jones apartment so I thought he was being to cool about it so I really thought he was going to kill her.  Then in Snakehead I think it was an amazing book, it wasn't just a mission it was personal.  the action, suspense and the betrayal all mixed into one made it my most favored book.  I will always have a place in my heart for stormbreaker because w/o it i wouldn't have started reading and i wouldn't have built myself up to who i am now.  I went from reading lab to advance english and a 95 on the state test in english all thanks to the book that started it all, stormbreaker.

I have to say a tie with SCORPIA and Snakehead
SCORPIA becuse he finds out about his past a little and he gets into the evil stuff that was cool and then Snakehead becuse he learns more about his past and meets Ash.
