I've heard of it somewhere before, but I haven't read it yet. It sounds really cool though...

i've had it for a couple of weeks now, and honestly I'm finding it very slow going. The writing style is kida ...clumsy? and I don't like the ways he's presented the main character- making her sound better than she is and really making her out like something special when she's done nothing but been slightly annoying. I was always advised in English not to describe, but show! but Stephanie is constantly described as cool and savvy and whatnot, but doing nothing...its not her fault, poor thing, its the author. But now I'm really annoyed by her.

There's a new book coming out in April. I hope it's as good as the first and they're written by Derek Landy and it's his first fairly big book so give him a break SillyBlob. Oh btw he's Irish

Well. the onle reason i actually read this book, because i was bored and randomly searching through my little bros books.
i started the book cause the cover looked nice, but in my opinion in wasnt much good at all. i didnt like the guys writing style, and there was too much action and no description really.
i know im a little old to judge books for the age graoup its written for, but theres still books that i read when i was about 12/13 and will still enjoy.
LOng live Dan Brown.
But maybe im being a little harsh. it wasnt boring, it was an okay book. id probably give it a 6 1/2?

a couple of weeks ago i got a newsletter email from waterstones and at the bottom it said they were looking for people to review the new skulduggery pleasant book, Playing With Fire. they said if anyone was interested then email them. so i emailed them and it didnt come. til yeaterday. i got home from school at about 5 ish and when my dad woke up at 9 he said 'what was in that package then?' i didnt know but all this time i was reading maximum ride on my bed skulduggery pleasant was underneath me!
i opened it and it wasnt the official book it was like they'd printed it from the computer and attatched it to a binder. i also got a skulduggery pleasant shirt!
Now i have to read it and write a 300 words or less review about it on the website. Before it comes out which is sometime next month i think.

Whoa 05jellis!!! do you like, have a copy of the manuscript or summat?
That is so cool!! To get to read a book before its published!! I envy you! (well not the fac that youre reading Skulduggery Pleasant, but the fact that youre reading a book before its been released.!!)
Did you sign up for this newsletter or something?
