So...I am a new member.I just decided to make an account.
I read Stormbreaker last week.I started it on Wednesday and finished it on Sunday.I don't usually read that much.It has to be something interesting that makes me keep on reading like that...and Stormbreaker was amazing!!!Today I started reading Point Blanc.Believe it or not I read 74 pages!I am really liking Point Blanc too!I am planning to read the whole series.I was searching for something different to read because I was reading only fantasy and I found the Alex Rider series. After the Alex Rider series I want to read Power of Five too!I am loving Anthony's work!

Anthony Horowitz is great!Keep it up Anthony!

Haha, welcome to the forum!

I was the same.

Basically, I had gone the local bookstore.. How long has it been now? About 6 years now? [yeah, I have the green cover Cheesy] And bought the book because I had loved Groosham Grange and the Unholy Grail. It was soo good! For me, being able to finish that book that day was a big thing, yet I remember that I managed =D

Definitely read the Power of Five series. IF possible, it's even better than Alex Rider, it's that good =]

Well actually I borrowed the books from the library and they have The Power of Five too.
I don't get any pocket money cause if I could get some money I will definately buy them!

I am now on page 229 of Point Blanc...I never read that much in my hole life...229 pages in only three days...and not to mention that I read at school only...in breaks usually Smiley

I finished reading Point Blanc this morning and I started reading Skeleton Key.The first few pages that I read are already encouraging me to read more and more. The librarian also suggested that I read the Power of Five series and I sure will!

Thanks for your help  smiley I don't like it when moderators delete my topics!

By the way I used to read too many fantasy books like Harry Potter,Lord of the Rings,Narnia and Earthsea. Now I got interested in the Alex Rider series very much and I also learnt new words.I like the detail that Anthony gives when writing about engine types and stuff like that.

From the last time that I've edited this post I've finished reading Skeleton Key,read Eagle Strike and now I'm on page 120 of Scorpia. They are all good books but I like Point Blanc best till now and Scorpia seems fine too Smiley Well, they are all good!

The Alex Rider series helped me get into a whole new type of reading. Before I read it I would read girly books and novels, but out of impulse I signed stormbreaker out of the school library, and ended up buying the whole series, even the one's i ha later checked out of the school library, just so I didn't have to wait for them to come back in. The series has a lot of good points to it and I found has greatly improved my own writing.

--Just a tip so you don't get moderators on your back. If your the last poster on a thread and you want to say something new, don't write a new reply, but click on the edit button in the corner of your last post. They don't particularly like it if you double post.--
