I have started to read the Sally Lockhart books and was wondering if anyone else has read them. They are really good books, so far I have only read the first two and am starting the third. I have the fourth one but was wondering if it was as good as the other ones?

The fourth one? You mean another novel of Pullman's the barely mentions the name Lockhart? The Tin Princess, I assume?

Anyway, I read these a couple years back - wonderful books, like everything of Pullman's, but I don't think they're for children. I mean, there is an awful lot of possible murders, and a WHOLE LOT of drugs - mainly, opium. Add crime lords and other random bad stuff in there, and the trilogy is not for kids. Cheesy

p.s. Already a Pullman thread here: http://anthonyhorowitz.com/msgboard/index.php/topic,2830.0.html

Yeah, I was sad when I heard that the only main character that would be in the fourth one was Jim, who I love!

Really, like a movie?

It was a full length TV adaptation starring Billie Piper. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0498382/

I love these books ^^.
I'm sorry though, because I'm going to have to lock this. As Savvy said, there's already a Phillip Pullman thread. (http://anthonyhorowitz.com/msgboard/index.php/topic,2830.0.html, in case you didn't see it).
