Huskier? No thanks. I don't think Alex needs Sabina, and I think Edward should act as more of a father figure.

I don't mean huskier as like moving to Alaska and becoming an eskimo.  Become a size XXXXL.  Just a little more rough around the edges.  shocked hopefully he didn't dye his hair.  It's so perfectly beachy and effortlessly tousled.  Yeah, and hopefully Edward acts as more of a father figure and limits Sabina and Alex's relationship: brother and sister.  But what can I say, the girls want what the girls want...............spies. Smiley british spies.

Who would I be... If I'd never met Alex Rider?

« Reply #347 on: December 10, 2011, 01:22:52 PM »

Yeah. It'd be kinda weird to go out with your own brother...  Do you think Alex would want to be Alex Rider-Pleasure or honour his family by staying Alex Rider? Maybe he would feel his own name is one of the last things he has left from his old life.

That's an interesting question, but I think he would stay Rider. Maybe just for his parents sake.

I reckon that even if the Pleasures adopted hime, he would stay Alex Rider - Alex Pleasure just doesn't work...  undecided

I know!!! But then again, he can never truly be Alex Rider again, if you think about it. He's sort of going to have to rebuild himself.

I know! I can't wait! I automatically assumed 'Finally! A story about Alex after SR!' But what if it's not? It could always be a time between missions, or when Ian was alive.

That would suck! All that excitement only to be dissapointed. I don't think AH would do that though. In fact, I think he's writing the story partly because some people didn't like the ending.

Hmm, maybe. I hope for a scene with a shrink!  cheesy The shrink keeps asking him tons of questions, but he just sits down and reads a book, and she says loads of stuff about Jack, but somehow he controls himself not to react, and Alex comes out with a faint smile of triumph, and
ED: How was the shrink?
ALEX: Shrink? Me? No, that was Alice. (Holds up Alice in Wonderland)

Though why would he read that?! Sorry for the worst joke in the history of the world... sad

Yaaaaa.....I don't think AH is going to be adopting that joke for Alex anytime soon. Sorry. Good idea though. A for effort.

Ha, yeah. I can imagine lots of strange things. Like my teacher capturing a lion and saving us all from death. You know with like those poles with a plastic ring thing on the end? You get them in the swimming pool too to save people from drowning. Anyway, bot.

I want adult Alex novels! It even said on the front of SR: 'The end starts here.' It's only the beginning of the end!
