i agree with you. i think it insults Alex's intelligence a little bit because of how obvious it is that Ian is a spy. even though he's more mature in the books, if he can figure out something's not right about Damian Cray with very little amount of evidence he can figure out somethings up with Ian then. but i still think it was a good story.
