I thought they weren't bad but not overwhelming.
Then I was eager to see Yassen again and I kept reading the books because - in my opinion - they were getting better.
Nevertheless, I like the way they are written, the movie-style of the pacing and all the action.

I loved the books from the start.

I liked how it was a good story accessible for kids.

Umm, I thought it was weird, cause I actually enjoyed a series suggested by my mom... She told me to read Little Women, and Anne of Green Gables, which, no offense, are kinda boring to me.  I'm more into the whole sci-fi/fantasy thing.

Well, I think I  first saw like the movie version of stormbreaker in a book shop so i thought I would look it up at the library and it turned out the first four were in a big thick one. i didn't think i'd like it that much but i tried it and some of stormbreaker was missing! just some of the start. but it was okay because i'd seen the movie. it was only after i'd bought stormbreaker that i read the start! then after i read the first four, i found out there was five and six and i was very happy. now SNAKEHEAD COME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!
does anyone have a new date yet? last i heard was november... october?

At my school they study Stormbreaker as a novel in the first year. They only started that after i'd finished the year, which is a shame.

I really wish our school taught SB, I will try to recommend it to my third or fourth grade teachers, because that's a good age for challenging readers...
