I agree that Alex is already funny. I *heart* the sarcasm and the witty comments in the series =D
It would be cool if there was more of what Alex's friends/schoolmates thought of him... Did someone already say that? LOL

I wouldn't give him one because thats the thing about alex, he uses his brain and doesn't just take the easy way out.
All it would acomplish would be to creat a dived in his personality. The befor and the after getting a gun.

He does what he has to do to survive and that's part of what makes Alex the way he is. That burden of life. But still, he doesn't have to use a gun to do what he's been doing all along, it would just make the action a little easier. and the copeing a little harder.

shooting someone isn't an easy way out you have to live with knowing you took anothers life for the rest of their life.
you have to go to bed knowing you took a father/son/mother/duaghter/husband/wife/brother/sister from someone in the world it's a big burrden for someone.

If I were writing Alex, I'd probably retcon Ark Angel out - Cue Snakehead coming out and proving that Ark Angel was a critical mission in the series  No idea what I'd replace it with though. |

If I was Anthony Horowitz, I would take Sabina out of the story (I feel she slowed everything down. I think in the end, Alex should be very alone. So alone it hurts. Because that's what spying is all about.) Have Alex have some empathy for his uncle and how he had to live a secret life. I would then have Yassen come back from the dead. He wasn't killed. He's ALIVE!!!!! That was the worst part, killing him like that. I would also add something that would be a mercy to Alex. Then, I would take it away. You know what, looking back at my ideas, none of them are any good. I think I will just leave all the writing to Anthony. He truely is the best.

I'd make Alex a bit more gritty, have him take a real beating like Daniel Craig did in the new Bond film. Also it'd be nice to have Jack Starbright in some action as well.

What would I do if I was AH.
Hmmm probably have one of the books set in Japan and I wouldn't have killed Yassen. I'd probably keep Sabina just make her less important and I dunno really...
Isn't putting your own ideas into another's story what fanfiction's for?
Not that my fanfiction's very good...but now I'm going off topic...anyway I dunno what I would change really.
