I would make Sabina the same age as Alex and maybe put a little more romance in it [but not too much]. I would also put a bit more of what his friends at school think of him...whether he's well liked or not and if he's smart.

yeah but there's lots of witty and sarcastic jokes in there, you just have to notice them. Also, I don't think Anthony writes books with out and out jokes he mixes them in the plot using the main characters wit and sarcasm

Well, I read a lot of fanfiction, and people often say Alex Rider is a mary sue. I would make him have more things he's bad at.

he isn't perfect he makes loads of mistakes. and i don't want alex to be too funny either coz i dont want the story to turn into a comedy.
