grrr....i've read the box office results from the US of A....the movie only generated a sad amount of.....
$400,000 US
I KNOW.
that is a sad amount....but unfortunately, it's true. i also believe that the film has vanished off the face of the US and Canada....sorry for the dramatics....but i'm kinda depressed here!!! i went to the toronto film fest and there was a Q&A ....and anthony horowitz said that there may be a point blanc movie but alex will NOT play the role again because he is way too old for alex rider's age...............
and another thing....the only reason he cut off his hair is because he wanted a change of style... like there doesn't have to be an underlying meaning to EVERYTHING he does....i mean he's normal like the rest of us...not a real spy....tho admittedly gorgeous than some other dudes i know....he also said that he did not audition for the role of prince caspian...and he chose stormbreaker over the other film eragon because he would have to fly over to sweden or wherever it was filming and he has vertigo...

I hope they make Point Blank into a movie, but I wonder how they will find someone as gorgeous as Alex to replace him, lol! Seriously, I wonder if there is anyone that looks like him and sounds like him...  |

Chaging the actor for AR is quite sad because more people will come to see the movie if they will see the same actor. You have to admit that many people came to see the movie because of AP. Not us of course.

well i mean take the UK premier for example. AH himself said that more than half the people came to see the main actor. For people who haven't read the book, AP is one of the reasons they went to see the movie.
I showed a picture of AP to some people in my class and they instantly wanted to see it. It's quite good though because after seeing the movie many people want to read the AR books.
