no he definately knew. and the second part doesn't make sense b/c he saved alex's life too many times. |

hmm..... good point. i think that scorpia didn't tell Yassen about John Rider becasue maybe only julia rothman knows about it, and she doesn't want other people to know.

i have a theory but it kinda contains a spoiler soo.....
Yassen was 14 when he joined scorpia, and he didn't have any family. Alex is 14, a spy and also has no family anyone see a connection. Maybe Yassen wanted alex to be like him and join scorpia because yassen knows what alex is going through and wants him to join scorpia. Go to Venice, find Scorpia, find your destiny. It more sounds like he wants Alex to join one because his father was apart of it even undercover he still taught there, and it also sounds like Yassen thinks it is where he belongs. I really dont think that yassen would seek revenge on scorpia or anything if he knew they had killed John, I think he's been in the business long enough to know that he works for ruthless assasins.
