I've been having a look at amazon.co.uk in order to order in copies [as I've finally been given permission by parents *sigh*] and I was faced with this ridiculous price for "Day of the Dragon"- ?272.38

=/ I managed to find the Devil's Doorbell for 15 pounds, but I wanted to buy them all in one hit. I'll have a look at e-bay too and see what I can find.

They're not in print anymore, so your best bet would be snooping around in second hand and used books.  You can still find them on the net.  Abebooks.com is a good site to find old books, that's where I found my copies of the books I was still missing.  Ebay might also be an option, but you might end up paying a lot for them there

Tell me if im right in this. There was another series out in the late 80's called the power of five. Anthony took the basic guidelines and made an entirely new story or did he just make it more detailed and more interesting. Either way the books rock! and if my first assumption was correct where can i find the original books?

Have you ever thought that maybe if you had read this topic you might have had a clue?  It was his own story the first time round and it's pretty much the same story this time round, and the original is no longer in print so they're hard to find.  To sum up the previous 3 pages.

Once again: take the effort to read the rest of the topic, or at least the first post, then you'd know.

Matthew Freeman, I don't think any of the original books came out on audio CD.  In fact, considering when they came out, if they came out in an audio version at all, it would have been a cassette.  I still doubt it though, as it wasn't a common thing to do back then.

I'm guessing that is because the new version of the 4th book hasn't come out yet.  There's more mystery about it, so people will want it more, and thus the price goes up.
