Lol the year 7s were singing it in the IT room and i was like SHUT UP!!!
Anyway i think this is quite funny:

Quote
Pettyfer makes a suitably good-looking hero, although occasionally clamping his jaw doesn't really convey the bitter tragedy behind Rider's mission

Ok ok ok! You have to admit it's a good advert because EVERYONE'S talking about it, even though it's damn cheesy and annoying, and also it's quite funny!

I would say this film had more of a serious tone and sense of realism than something like, say, Cody Banks.

True -  but it could have been more serious. For example they could have
exaggerated the fact that he didn't WANT to spy, and enhanced the blackmailing (which they didn't in the film). And given Alex Rider at LEAST a scratch lol!

8/10....

(What IS IT with that Frosites advert!?!)

It is NOT a good advert... A good advert makes you laugh and allows you to LIKE it, then you remember the product. It's not meant to ANNOY the $%*£ out of you!!!

I really liked the film. I wasn't sure whether I would, whether it could live up to the book, but it was great. The little details were there (eg 'goat-boy' changed to 'trailer boy' and I really liked Jack.
AP did very well and I thought Yassen was really cool (the way he killed people was clever) and I liked the stunt sequences (though I wasn't fussed on the karate moves mixed with rope tricks near the start).
I thought there was a good mixture of action, comedy, detail and alex.
I'm not going to cooment on Sabina 'cause I'm jealous of her - but I will say that the horsey scene was...strange.
Overall, I loved it. I re-read the book before I saw the film, and I liked the details (nadia vole and the jelly-fish - that was funny).

I was just surprised that there weren't many people in the cinema. My 2 friends and I went to see PotC last week, and arrived half an hour early and only just got tickets. We turned up half an hour early for strombreaker too, but it was far from sold out.  The cinema was about 3 fifths full.

Anyway, yeah. I loved it.

What exactly was Sabina's role in the movie? I like Sarah, she's really pretty and she was excellent in In America. Could anyone please give spoilers? Please, Please...  Cheesy
