I just wonder if another character was to take pettyfer's place, given the same hair, height, athletic build, if that would ruin the movies o come - since i though the cast for stormbreaker was good choices.

ah you do realise that most of the cast for harry potter are like, in there 20s? It doesnt matter how old they actually are, as long as they dont look old. thats what hair and make-up is for.
I dont think the guy from malcum in the middle would make a good alex.

cept hes not blonde and would look horrid in blonde. plus hes that kind of guy who would be a reject, if he werent an actor, so he mainly plays parts of kids that are left out, nerdy and too worried about if they're acting cool or not.

And he is already in a spy movie. Agent cody banks? I never watched it. but it would be stupid for him to play the same sort of character...

I think he would have made a good Alex Rider, but he's too old now.  He doesn't look 14 at all

I know who would make a perfect Alex Rider, don't know if it would work but would be perfect!
I wonder if anyone can guess who I am thinking of?  His first name starts with a C and his last name starts with an S.
Any guesses?
