(I know there was another topic like this but i can't find it so i'll make a new one just in case)

Ok right Alex Pettyfer may have hinted that he is playing the role of Alex Rider in the next movie - that's Point Blanc right?
If this movie is a success, the producers and the director may want to carry on making the rest of the books movies...But what if Alex Pettyfer get's too old?

Oh yeah the guy who plays Ed in Grange Hill, Alex Sheldon, may be the right age by the time Alex pettyfer gets too old. And plus he's called Alex! Not that that is important or anything... lol.

Alex Sheldon is probably 12/13 years old and he has short blonde hair and he looks like this:


I know what you're thinking, he looks like a baby! Lol but note that his face might change a few years later and i'm just saying that if you need a younger alex Rider, he may be just the guy.

Can anyone think of anyone else who could also play Alex Rider? Like anyone with the right age to play AR in Arc Angel etc.

The main thing isn't his height... It's his features, I mean, look at him in the trailer for SB, he already looks about 18-21. If you come over here to London no one looks that old, I'm 15 and I definelty don't look that old...

No way. Sumpter is too old, too tall.
I think the reason Pettyfer isn't coming back is because he's too tall. He hinted in the most recent Popcorn interview that he would like to do Point Blanc but he wasn't allowed because of his height.
Aiken might be the right height. I don't know, I've only seen him in Series of unfortunate events and I don't think he's cut out to be a spy.
